Olmesartan (ol-ma-SAR-tan) and hydrochlorothiazide (hye-droe-klor-oh-THYE-a-zide) is a combination medicine that belongs to the class of medicines called high blood pressure medicines (antihypertensives). It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Olmecip controls high blood pressure. It works by blocking the effect of a hormone called angiotensin II.
